The votes are in, and your favorite roughneck MC, 50 Cent, has been deemed the victor. His infectious, club banging track "In Da Club"-produced by Dr. Dre-has been dubbed by our users Song Of The Year. Though the competition was tough, pitting him against Evanescence's "Bring Me To Life," Beyonce's "Crazy In Love," Linkin Park's "Somewhere I Belong," and Sean Paul's "Get Busy," 50 Cent's razor sharp lyrics against one of hip-hop's most memorable beats proved to be the recipe for the year's top pick. Actually, 2003 has been so great for 50 Cent that many of his other singles could have also been in the running. All of his songs enjoyed significant radio and video spins, including his hip-hop ballad "21 Questions," duet with the late Notorious B.I.G. "The Real N-ggas," ode to the procurers of prostitutes "P.I.M.P.," and let's not forget his Ja Rule diss "Wanksta" from the 8 Mile soundtrack that kicked his career off last year.
