It seems everybody now days wants some kind of 'BEEF".

I recently posted an article '50 Cent Popularity Fading'---

 http://www.rapnewsdirect.com/News/Archive/0-202-257082-00.html

Well it seems a web site did not agree with that article and has decided it is my fault. This article was a copy and paste article. I did not write or change the article in any way. Our whiners over at grimeyworld.tk did not check the source of the article before they posted their lil 'jab' at me; probably because they list no source for their articles; so in fact they bite other peoples work.

Anyway here is what they posted on their site:

RAPNEWSDIRECT TALKS SHIT????
September 10th 2003
A recent article on www.rapnewsdirect.com states that 50 Cent's
"popularity is fading", claiming that most of his fans are "young
females" and that 50 might just be a 1 hit wonder. I disagree and I've
decided to take a few jabs at Rap News Direct.

It seems that Rap News Direct's consciousness is fading, because 50 Cent is amongst the only rappers to hold it down for the street and still make it big. I agree that at times, 50 Cent is quite cocky and that it might have
been a mistake of him to diss all these rappers on H0t 97, but what about
Eminem? He dissed a few people when he first came out and he's makin it big.
N.W.A stirred lots of controversy, so what?
This sugercoated attitude is what's holding back Hip Hop. If Rap News Direct
are suggesting 50 Cent isn't as hot as he used to be, does that mean they
would rather support pop icons like Nelly, Ja Rule or Fabolous?
50 Cent is the only street rapper who's keepin the mainstream fresh from
all the other pop shit. Like it or not, but 50 is here to stay.
Let's take a look at some of the Hip Hop Heads 50 has or is workin wit:

Eminem
Dr.Dre
DMX
Jay-Z
Snoop Dogg
Ol' Dirty Bastard (Dirt McGirt)
Ludacris
DJ Kay Slay
Xzibit
Onyx
King Gordy
Nas
Busta Rhymes

Are Rapnewsdirect really suggesting that these top notch Hip Hop heads have
worked with a 1 hit wonder, who's main fan base are young women?
For the future, I hope Rap News Direct think before they publish and choose
their words more carefully.
Peace.

Well Morty all I can say is are you going to run your mouth on PurelyRap.net ; the source of this article? Or are you just going to go and accuse me of something that I did not write ; and maybe not even agree with? We post the news---not personal opinions. That is why this Staff Blogs  is here. For the staff to voice things that are going on with them. And apparently I got YOU going on with me.

Just because I see no source information on any story on your site, doesn't mean that all sites run on the philosophy of just throwing any ol thing out there. Our news is trusted because site vistors can always trace the story back to the source. No source--No article. Unlike sites filled with 'well joe down the block told me' or 'I think', our stories are REAL news worthy stories. And we do not 'slant' stories to match our opinions; like; well some do.

So there you go Morty, that is the long and the truth of it. I don't want 'BEEF" or disagreement with you but now that the truth is out there, and the source tab explained to you, maybe you can clear up this  "RAPNEWSDIRECT TALKS SHIT???? " for your visitors. I have tried to clear it up for ours.

UPDATE: Ok in all fairness and since I truely believe this all was a misunderstanding, I am going to add something here. After an e-mail and this post grimeyworld.tk has published the following:

REGARDING THE RAPNEWSDIRECT ARTICLE
September 19th 2003
We recently posted a news article with the headline "Rapnewsdirect Talks Shit". This article is to be disregarded, because it was in fact not Rapnewsdirect who wrote this, but another site.
My apologies to everyone at Rapnewsdirect, this was not an attempt at starting beef, I was just dissapointed because I thought they had published the article.

So that is that and things are back to normal. I hold no bad feelings against these brothers and I just hope in the future, they and anyother site, or visitor that has a problem with one of my post; first take time to e-mail me. I answer ALL e-mails. You can e-mail me at Robert@rapnewsdirect.com

Thanks Morty for clearing this up. Keep in touch.----------Robert
